Refuses to Let Your Promise Die - Live

I am amazed at the determination of the Shunammite woman. She commanded life in the midst of death. She refuses to even allow death to take away God promised to her. She never spoke words of death, lack, or failure. She only spoke words of life "It shall be well" and "It is well." Most people would have looked at the situation and simply would have given up. They would have looked at the death of the child as the final end.

She knew that God did not give her a promise just to take it away, and she refuses to allow even death to stop the fulfillment of God's promise. God's promise to her was greater than the circumstances of death, for what God had promised he will fulfill, and what he said he will bring it to pass.

Holding on to God promises is not always easy, but you must determine that God cannot lie and what he had promised he will bring it to pass. Some have failed to see the fulfillment of God's promise because the circumstances of life became greater than the word of God. Your negative thinking and speaking can stop the promises of God from being fulfilled in your life.

Remember Zacharias the priests, while he was fulfilling his priestly duties, the angel of the Lord appeared to him and spoke a promise of God concerning the birth of his son (John). Zacharias began to speak words of doubt and unbelief. How can this be, my wife and I are old and can not have a child? He begins questioning the angel but he had the record of the Old Testament and the testimony of Abraham and Sarah, bringing forth a child in their old age. So he had no reason to doubt the promise of God given to him by the angel. The angel did an amazing thing, he shut the mouth of Zacharias. He was not able to speak until the child was born. He was not speaking life, but he was questioning God's unlimited ability. We know that the angel of God can only speak the words of God. Zacharias should have begun to rejoice because God has heard their prayers and was bringing forth a child. We need to learn if we cannot speak words of life do not speak at all.

Life and death decision is in the power of your tongue. You speak life or are you speak death in any given situation. Are your words giving birth to life or death? God created us in his nature, and just as he created the earth by speaking words. We can create the circumstances of life good or bad with the words we speak. It is amazing to me as powerful as God is, he cannot go beyond the words of your mouth, he would not violate this law. Are you living the abundant life, or is death, lack, or sickness ruling in your life?

This takes us back to the Shunammite woman. Let's look at the three things she did to restore the promise God had made to her.

She only spoke life in the midst of death. "It is well"She sought out the man of God to stand with her in agreement (the power of agreement)She was fully persuaded if God spoke it he had to fulfill his promise. So the promise of God (Life), was greater than the circumstances of death.

Mary and Martha were very sad that they had lost their brother Lazarus. But if you must have a funeral is best to invite life himself “Jesus Christ” for he is the resurrection power that can change every circumstance of life and bring the fulfillment of God's promise. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.“

So many of us live in the funeral homes of dead promises, broken dreams, and lost hopes. We think this is the natural way of living. We speak death to our finances, we speak words of death to our marriages, we teach our children words of death as a way of living. But it is time to invite Jesus into our funeral home, for where Jesus is death cannot prevail.

I speak prophetically: I command that the life and nature of God be imparted into your circumstances at this very moment. I speak the words of life and resurrection to every negative circumstance changing your dead situations and fulfilling it with the very life of God. I speak life to your finances, I speak life to that wayward son or daughter. I speak life to every sickness and disease, and the health of God springs forth in your body now. I speak the life of God into your broken heart that hope will come alive once again. I speak life into your marriage, I speak life into your lost dreams and visions that God had given you. Life, Life, Life. You shall live and see the manifested glory of God life come forth you. Jesus, you promise that we may have abundant life and now we will live in the abundance you have prepared for us. I speak life.

Keep speaking the word of God until his very life, assume your very nature and life.
